Boys History

1972-75
This team dominated the area for four years. They claimed 3 consecutive SWBL, District, and Regional Titles. The 1975 team scored 18 points at the District Meet and 35 at the Regional Meet.
Featuring 5 All-Ohioans the Red Devils finished 16th, 5th, 2nd, and 2nd at the state meet. Individually, Dave Lightle finished 2nd in the state in 1974 and Jeff Rawlins finished 4th in 1975 with a school record 9:38. Lightle ran for two years at Dartmouth. Jeff Rawlins ran for Malone College reaching All-American status. Rawlins, Scott Dixon, and Dave Grim also competed on the local road racing scene raking up some impressive times from 5K up to the Marathon. Tracy Freemen was the fifth runner to earn all Ohio honors in 1975.

2006-09
The Red Devils returned to their former glory in 2006. The group collected three consecutive CBC, District, and Regional titles. The teams finished 8th, 5th, 2nd, and 6th at the state meet.
Four All-Ohioans emerged from this group. Current Bowling Green Falcon Jason Salyer finished 3rd in the 2008 state meet with a school record time of 15:45. Kevin Fink finished 12th in 08 and 10th in 09. Tyler Feitshans finished 15th in 2009, while freshmen Sam Wharton was 24th as well.
Salyer and Jason Bruns (Wright State) have continued their running careers.
